What’s been happening:

Reinhard is married to fellow Penn Stater Hildegard and has two children. After his M.Sc. (Computer Science) at Penn State he obtained a Ph.D. at Rice University (1995) and went into industry research with Daimler and Airbus (until 2001). Now he is an academic - again - at Kiel University, as faculty member of the Computer Science department. His research interests are real-time and embedded systems.
